Overall Summary:
In the geography is destiny paper, there were many things that we learned, I learned that the periodic table is useful from September until late May. I also learned that the periodic table was also German engineered. I also learned that 112 elements make up and there are a few more pending. 75% of the bricks (elements) are metals, most of the elements are cold gray solids. There are only 2 elements that are liquids that can stay at room temperature and they are bromine and mercury. The word elements come from a Greek word called stoicheia and it means different small particles of matter.
Summary of Significance:
Something that I found very significant in the geography is destiny paper was when they started to find out what superfluous were and discovered them. Superfluids were found by a German scientist and what he did was cooled mercury with pure helium when he had cooled it below -452 degrees farenheit that the product would lose all electrical resistance and become an ideal conductor. I also found it significant when it talked about the Russian scientist in 1937 pulled a neat trick with pure helium and that when he cooled it to -456 degrees farenheit the helium would turn into a superfluid that would have zero viscosity and zero gravity and it flows uphill and over walls. I found that part very significant because superfluids were a big find.
Summary of Evidence:
So I found some evidence about what most people think about the periodic table in the geography is destiny reading. On the first page of the geography is destiny reading it says "When most people think of the periodic table, they remember a chart hanging on the front wall of there high school chemistry class", so basically that part that was on the first page is just stating that when most people hear or think of the periodic table all they can think of is the chart that hung in front of there high school chemistry class.
