For the first Art project of Junior year, my teacher gave us a lot of flexibility in what we were suppose to draw. The idea for this project was to create a Symbolic Self Portrait that represents us. For this project our only requirements were that you have to fill the entire page, you have to include traits and images that express and symbolize you, and you have to include a trace of your hand in some way. When I heard the requirements for this project, I decided to piece together exactly what symbolized me. I realized that the things that symbolized me the most were my hobbies as well as my interests. Something that I included in my drawing was some of the many interests I have currently as well as the things I was interested in when I was little. Something that I am very interested in now is sports as well as music and social media. However, when I was a child I was very interested in toys and such. In the end, my art piece was sort of like a two way split between the activities that I liked when I was younger compared to the things I like now. This was a very fun project that I had enjoyed a ton, mostly due to the amount of flexibility we were given during it.
